Market Share
Universal Cooperatives works with major consumers and distributors of feed ingredients, which includes 17 regional cooperatives in the United States and Canada. Collectively, these members represent the largest livestock feed manufacturing and distribution system in North America, producing more than 26 million tons of feed. Our regional cooperatives operate over 100 centralized feed mills, and local cooperatives operate hundreds more -- all to ensure producers' needs are met with the best value.

Market Research Many of our regional cooperatives collaborate on basic nutrition research through Cooperative Research Farms (CRF). Together, the cooperative system uses member expertise and resources to develop marketing information relevant to commercial and companion animal feed markets. This collaboration results in a portfolio of proprietary products, programs and technologies which sets the Universal Cooperative feed programs apart from the competition.
